This workshop focuses on the role of the Management Committee members of Temples in nurturing our rich Dharmic heritage – more so on issues, challenges and approaches to what they can do to build a robust and constructive astika samaj in the temples that they serve.

Temples have been in the center of our dharmic samaja initiatives through the ages. The hoary temple traditions nurturing true devotion in the hearts of the devotees have faced the ravages of the lack of protection during the many vulnerable times.
Many generous donors including those in business and in administration apart from the devotees, through the ages, had endowed the temples with lands, grants and a variety of corpus support to nurture and sustain the dharmic activities of the devotees of these temples. However, our present state of temple administration demands that we need appropriate and well thought out approaches and responses to the contemporary challenges that Dharmic Temple management committee members face in their unique decision making of serving in their temple.

This workshop has limited seats and is by invitation only. If you are interested kindly register using the link below. After due selection we shall intimate your registration confirmation.

In this workshop, after a brief presentation on the scope and overview, we shall be having a talk and two question and answer session of approximately 30 to 40 minutes duration with Sri Rajiv Malhotra, focused on the themes of (i) protecting dharmic heritage core of our temples (ii) improving autonomous dharmic governance structures in our temples including nurturing appropriate astika samajs and (iii) appropriate interfacing with secular entities including governmental agencies.
